If you're an educator who's passionate about college access and teach in an eligible school in Wisconsin, Ohio, or Minnesota, you may have the opportunity to have your student loan debt reduced thanks to Great Lakes' College Access Champion Award. Our 2009-10 award recognizes teachers, counselors, staff members, or administrators like you who go above and beyond your normal duties to help students in low-income schools achieve their dreams of going to college.
Each award recipient will receive up to $5,000 toward their federal student loan debt. The award recognizes that many of you borrowed student loans to fund your own college education, and rewards you for putting another generation of students on the path to college.
