Sign up for Account Access: Create User ID and Password

You can sign up for account access if you have loans serviced or guaranteed by Great Lakes. The sign-up process consists of four steps:

  1. Creating a User ID and password
  2. If required, providing answers to personal identification questions
  3. Providing answers for Identity Challenge Questions
  4. Selecting an Identity Image

To get started, create the User ID and password you want to use to access your account.


Your User ID must be between 5 and 30 characters, and cannot be 9 consecutive numbers or contain certain special characters.  

I think I already created a User ID but I forgot it.


Passwords are case-sensitive, must be 7 characters or longer, contain at least 1 letter and 1 number, and cannot match your user ID or contain more than 2 repeating characters.
